The main story here is:
Antonio who is an enemy of the Jew Shylock happens to send his ships to various countries for trade & his ships don't return on time unfortunately. So in the meanwhile, Bassanio & Portia fall in love together, Bassanio borrows from Shylock with Antonio as a surety that if he doesn't repay on time Antonio's pound of flesh would be deducted.And Bassanio fails in repaying the amount, So they meet in the Court of law where Portia disguise herself as an attorney & saves Antonio's life & then happily ever after...

The Plot:
Antonio is merchant of venice and give loans to other people with low interest. But there is also merchant name Shylock who is jew and he take a very high interest. One day Antonio's friend, Bassanio wants to get married with Portia. But Bassanio have no money to travel and for other expenses. So, He asked his friend Antonio to help him. But Antonio have no money to pay. So he goes to Shylock to get a loan. But Shylock was an enemy of Antonio. And when he met a Antonio he was pretending to be good so he said him that he don't have to pay the interest. But if he cant pay the money he have to give a pound of flesh.
Bassanio took the money from Antonio and married Portia by passing test. But Antonio sent a letter that he was ruined. Shylock was happy that now he have a chance to kill to Bassanio. But Portia with her wits and a help from her maid got a loop hole and take down Shylock with his own plan. But Portia was in disguise at this moment. And in happiness. Bassanio open the ring from his finger and give to Portia which was given to him by her and Portia played little trick. She took the ring went home and Bassanio came home, Poria told him that he loved a other woman. Bassanio was in shock and ask how is this possible. Then Portia took the ring up and ask him then what this is. He was amazed and then Portia told him that she was the lawyer in disguise
