Can anyone explain the change of momentum and the formula Δp=Δ(mv)? Also please explain the behaviour of atomic particles moving with the velocity comparable to the velocity of light.

∆P = ∆( mv )

for particle moving with velocity comparative to velocity of light there comes the concept of relativistic mechanics.
