The above sentence means that no happiness can equal the joy of overcoming a bad habit.
In other words, it is the incomparable happiness one gets out of stopping a bad habit, that may have been troubling that person and which he or she may have been trying to come out of.
Examples are stopping the bad habit of smoking, alcoholism, procrastination etc.
