Equation is 6x^2 - 5x - 25 =0
First split the middle term.
= 6x^2 - 15x + 10x -25 =0
(Here you can see that if we simplyfy -15x + 10x then it will be same as above equation.)
Now, Take common
3x(2x-5) +5 (2x-5) = 0
Take 2x-5 as common term
(2x-5) (3x+5) = 0
So,Eithe 2x-5 = 0 or 3x+5 = 0
If 2x-5 =0, then
2x = 5
x = 5/2 { say alpha}
If 3x+5 = 0 then,
3x = -5
x = -5/3 { say beta}
Hope you understand.
