Can anyone give me a speech on cultivating friendship is an art

Cultivating friendship is indeed an art. Art focuses on the heart while science focuses on the brain. So, while science is logical, art might not be very logical. Human relationships, particularly friendships are matters of the heart. For instance, if a friend is in trouble and needs help in the dead of night, your brain might advise you against going to his rescue, citing numerous logical factors. The heart however, feels, rather than thinks and overrules the listed reasons. All it knows is that a friend is in trouble. That is how friendships are cultivated, not by pre-meditated gives and takes, but simply by being there when the friend needs you the most.
Yet another instance is how people from different backgrounds, ethnic and age groups become thick friends. Logically speaking, they probably do not need to look beyond their closed circles. However, people do have friends with whom they do not share too many commonalities. This again suggests that friendship is an art, and not a science.
