Can anyone give me the answer for the Q Pat's income is 20% more than Adam .What % is Adam's income less than Pat.

Let the income of Adam be = x

Pat's income = x + 20% of x

For finding difference between their income:

Percentage = (Difference)/Pat's income × 100

= (x + 20%x - x)/(x + 20%x) × 100

= 20x/100 × 4/5x × 100

= 16%
