can anyone give me the full derivation of how we got the value of pi is 22/7?

 The definition of π says that it is equal to the value of circumference of the circle divided by the value of diameter of that circle

The value of π (pi) is not 22/7.

As π is an irrational number i.e., it is non-terminating and non-repeating. Therefore it cannot be written in the form of fraction.

Its value generally taken as 22/7 because it approximates π(pi) to two decimal places.

As the exact value of π(pi) cannot be written in numbers only it can be approximated. Therefor 22/7 is used as an approximation.
