here are some tips:
Instead of reading chapter first see the question in the back so when you read it your brain will register the important points
Don"t read for a stretch read for an hour and take breaks.
Do active reading which means pretend your teaching someone that way you will remember it.
Keep everything you need at your study table.
Do practice test it sets your mind for your exam
