So, when speaking of Ammonia its formula is NH3 and it is a compound. Its valency is 0 as it satisfies Octet rule ( 5 + 3 = 8 electrons in outermost orbit. Its Oxidation number of is equal to Zero…that means that it may not loose or gain any more electrons as it is very stable compound.
