Can anyone give me tips to study history and geography of class X ?

just make notes and read them carefully.If you revise each morning ,it will enhance your memory.

First visualise history chaps like one of those palace films u see... do this for the full chap, after that divide the chap to parts and study each part separately. Write down the dates in a pages long with its event and refer that whenever u study hist.

For geography, if its difficult for u, make sure u write and learn, I'm telling u it'll help u even if u are that person who forgets EVERYTHING.
