LHS = tan theta - cot theta / sin theta * cos theta
= $\frac{sin theta}{cos theta} - \frac{cos theta}{sin theta} / sin theta * cos theta$
= $\frac{ sin^{2} theta - cos^{2}theta}{sin theta * cos theta}/ sin theta * cos theta$
= $sin^{2}theta - cos^{2}theta$
= RHS

Hence proved.
