a2-b2=(a-b)(a+b)
Well I guess you got confused as 5 isn’t a perfect square
Take 5 as rt5 square
Thus it becomes (x-rt5)(x+rt5)
There ya go

Answer:

(x+\sqrt{5\\})(x-\sqrt{5})

Step-by-step explanation:

The given expression is in the form of  x^{2}-y^{2}

Therefore on factorizing, we will get,

(x+\sqrt{5\\})(x-\sqrt{5})
