Answer:

1)pressure will decrease

pressure in a liquid=hρg

on the moon, g is lower, so pressure is lower

2)your friend

pressure=force/area

your friend's contact area is larger ( flat and wide bottom shoe...), so pressure is smaller, so he is less likely to sink into the ground

you are more likely to sink in the ground and get stuck

3)pressure in a liquid=hρg

h=pressure/ρg

=27200/(13600*10)

=0.2m or 0.2*100cm, i.e. 20cm

hope u understand:)

plz mark as brainliest:)

Answer:

i. Pressure, P=Pa-hρg

          where Pa → atmospheric pressure

                       h → height

                        ρ → density

                        g → acceleration due to gravity on earth(9.8 m/s²)

If the cylinder is taken to the Moon, the value of g on moon is 1/6 times the value of g on earth

P=hρg/6 (Pa is negligible since moon has no atmosphere)

ie, Pressure decreases when taken to the moon

ii. The person with shoes, Because from the equation, P=F/A, if area increases, then the pressure decreases. Since the person has shoes with large area, he exerts less pressure on the ground, making it easier to run.

iii. P=hρg

      27200=h×13600×10

          ∴h=27200/136000

              =0.2 m
