9. Let the breadth = x m
and the length = x+10 m
Perimeter of rectangle = 2 (l+b)
140 = 2 (x+10+x)m
140/2 = (2x +10)m
70 = 2x + 10
70 - 10 = 2x
60 = 2x
60/2 =x
30m = x
Hence, Breadth = x m = 30m
Length = x +10 = 30m+10 = 40m
