Ans:- Moti Lal lived in the hills and valleys, while Kisan Lal lived in a village in the plains of north

India.

2. Who cooked the grand feast? Say briefly what was made.

Ans:- The grand feast was cooked by the cooks and ladies of Moti Lal's house. The table was full of

delicious food such as rice cooked in saffron, chicken was cooked in a variety of ways. There were

vegetables, fruits and sweets which completed the feast.

3. How did Kisan Lal praise the dinner? Did the praise please Moti Lal?

Ans:- Kisan Lal said that the meal was cooked wonderfully but the feasts served in his village were

better.

No, this did not please Moti Lal.

4. Why did Moti Lal bite his lips nervously?

Ans:- Moti Lal bit his lips nervously because of Kisan's previous cold remarks about the food. He

expected Kisan Lal to praise the food now.
