1) R= R1+R2 = 10+20= 30 ohm (series connection)

I=V/R = 3/30= 1/10= 0.1 A

2) V= IR (across 10 ohm=R1)

V= 0.1 × 10 = 1V

(in series , potential difference is not constant across resistors. but current flow is constant)
