Answer:

let 'a' be a positive integer and b=4

by Euclid division lemma

a=bq+r. where r<=0<b

r=0,1,2,3

when r=0

then a =4q+0=4q. even

when r =1

then a=4q+1. odd

when r=2

then a=4q+2. even

when r=3

then. a=4q+3. odd

hence every positive odd integer is of the form 4q+1 and 41+3
