Explanation:

Coordinates of country A=(1,4)

Coordinates of country B=4,0

Distance Betwn A and B=AB

 \sqrt{(x2 - x1) { }^{2} } +  \sqrt{(y2 - y1} ) ^{2}

=

 \sqrt{(4 - 1) {}^{2} }  +  \sqrt{(0 - 4}) {}^{2}

=3

 \sqrt{3 {}^{2} }  +  \sqrt{4 {}^{2} }

 \sqrt{9 + 16}

 \sqrt{25}

=5

therefore distance betwn them is 5 units(option B)

plz mark it as brainliest
