During the colder times of the year, many of the Great Flamingos of Asia migrate to warmer climates. They generally end up in the warmer coastal areas of India and Iran in winter. When flamingos migrate, they do so mainly at night on a cloudless sky.
Great Flamingos are not migratory birds but climate change force them to migrate. They migrate only when the weather turns bad. Due to global warming their migration patterns seem to be getting shorter and shorter.
