a)OA shows acceleration and BC shows retardation or deceleration .
b)Acceleration/Deceleration=Change in Velocity/Time
I)acceleration from O to A=2/10m/s^2=0.2m/s^2
ii)Distance=area between speed-time curve and line representing time.Here distance=(4×10)m=40m

OA= uniform motion
OB= unifirm motion
the acceleration from O to A is 6m/s2
the distance traveled is 40 m
