well for a better exam routine you should make it on the basis of exam schedule and syllabus.

for example, if you have: (DATE) (SUBJECT)

4th Oct. science

6th Oct. English

8th oct. Social science

10th Oct. Maths

12th Oct. 2nd language

now for this exam schedule , your routine can be like:-

today you can read some social science for at least 1 and a half hour and then read english for 1 and a half hour, so your total study time will be 3 hours now plus 1 hour of maths. now why I said to read english and social science as in social science, the syllabus is generally very long and so we need much time to prepare and on the other hand I said english because if your read english now, then you can prepare for science before 2or 3 days before Science exam.

note:- this is just an example and my own opinion, if you don't like it, please forgive me.
