Fa-Hien a chinese traveller visited india dring the rule of chandragupta 2.his primary aim was to visit the buddhist religious places and get copies of buddhist texts.he started his voyage to india in 399AD.he visited many buddhist monastries on his way to india.he reached india in 400 AD and remained here upto 411AD.
