hey mate

here is the solution...

g=GM/R²

let M=mass of the earth

R=radius of the earth

thus,the mass of the planet=3M

the radius of the planet=2R

thus,gp=G3M/(2R)²

=3GM/4R²

thus,

gp/ge=3GM/4R²÷GM/R²

=3/4 (answer)

(2) is the correct option.
