cos 8a = sin a

cos 8a = cos (90° - a)

Therefore

8a = 90 - a

8a + a = 90

9a = 90

a = 90 / 9

a = 10

Value of tan 6a is as follows :

tan 6a = tan 6(10) = tan 60° = √3

Hence answer is 3.

Answer:

[3] √3

Step-by-step explanation:

cos 8x = sin x

sin [90-8x] = sin x

90-8x = x

90= 8x+x

90=9x

x=90/9=10

now tan 6x = tan 6(10) = tan 60° = √3
