Subject: Climatic change - reason and consequences

Dear Sir

The worldwide climatic change today tells a sad tale of human intervention with nature and exploiting the resources wantonly. Not only the weather cycle in different parts of the world has been disturbed, but unexpected natural calamities like Tsunami, Nepal earthquake, and cyclones indicate that nature can take no more of human disturbance and hence, as a result, has started revolting throwing here anger back at the humankind.

'Better late than never', if we realize the harm done because of our deeds and try to undo our mistake, we may still have some hope. Otherwise, it won't be an overstatement that man has been caught in his own web and moving gradually to his impending doom that can't be averted.

I would request some space for my letter in your newspaper so that my concern reaches the wider audience and makes a small beginning towards this initiative.

Thank you

Yours truly

XYZ
