a) lower circular-height of frustum
=28-8
=20 cm curved surface area of the vessel.
b) curved surface+upper circular
=20+14
=34 cm capacity of the vessel.

praanya: the capacity is coming out 824π

<b><i> SOLUTION ;

Given,
diameter, d1 = 14 cm, d2 = 26 cm,
height, h = 8cm

So, radius, r1 = 7 cm, r2 = 13 cm
Now,
Slant height, l =  \sqrt{r1 - r2 }^{2} + \sqrt{h {}^{2} }
=>l =  \sqrt{100}
=>l = 10 cm

Now, CSA of the vessel

= \pi \: l \: (r1 + r2)
=22/7 ×10 (7+13)
=22/7×10 ×20
= 4400/7
= 628.57 cm^2

Now, Capacity of the vessel
= 1/3 ×h ×(r1^2 + r2^2 +r1 *r2)
= 1/3 × 8× 309
= 824 cm^3

praanya: i think so the volume is 824π
rucha2472003: my pleasure 2 take help from u☺again tysm
praanya: because volume of frustum is 1/3π[r^2+R^2+r×R]
praanya: ×h
praanya: tell me
