Answer:

Given:

  • TSA of cuboid = 126 sqm
  • Length = 6m
  • Breadth = 5m

Find:

  • Height of cuboid?

Solution:

{ \boxed{ \sf{TSA  \: of  \: cuboid = 2(lw + wh + hl) }}}

 : { \implies{ \sf{2(5 \times 6 + 5 \times h + h \times 6) = 126sqm}}} \\  \\  : { \implies{ \sf{2(30 + 5h + 6h) = 126sqm}}} \\  \\  : { \implies{ \sf{2(30 + 11h) = 126}}} \\  \\  : { \implies{ \sf{60 + 22h = 126}}} \\  \\  : { \implies{ \sf{22h = 126 - 60}}} \\  \\  : { \implies{ \sf{22h = 66}}} \\  \\  : { \implies{ \sf{h =  \frac{66}{22} }}} \\  \\  : { \implies{ \sf{h = 3}}}

{ \therefore{ \sf{ \pink{Height \:  of  \: cuboid = 3m}}}}

Let \: the \: height \: of \: a \: Cuboid \: is \: h \: m

Given \:  the  \: length  \: of \:  Cuboid \:  is  \: 6m

The  \: breath \:  of  \: a \:  Cuboid  \:  is \:  5m

Total Surface area a Cuboid is

126 \:  {m}^{2}

⇒2(5 \times 6 + 5 \times h + 6 \times h)

 = 126

⇒30 + 11h = 63

⇒11h = 33

⇒h =  \frac{33}{11}

 = 3

So \: the \: height \: of \: a \: Cuboid \: is \: 3 \: m
