■Ileum
_______

HEYAA DEAR LOVELY FRIEND✌
HERE IS YOUR ANSWER⤵
⭐Small Intestine is distinguished into three regions:
1. Duodenum.
2. Jejunum.
3. Ileum.
✔The wall of intestine has thin layers of longitudinal and circular muscles.
✔Mucosa has folds called Plicae circulred and villi toward the lumen of the intestine.
✔Epithelial cells lining the villi have microvilli which further increases the absorptive area.
✔Intestinal glands or crypts of lieberkuhn have:
⭐Epithelial cells which secretes mucus.
⭐Paneth cells which secrete digestive enzymes.
⭐Argentaffin cells which probably secretes hormones.
✔In duodenum, Brunner's Glands are also present which secretes mucus.
✔Diffused patches of lymphoid tissues are present throughout the small intestine and aggregated in ileum to form Payer's Patches.
HOPE IT HELPS YOU!!!!⤴
