Answer:

we can separate mixture of two immiscible liquid by:

separating funnel

separation based on = difference in densities of two liquid ,let's take a example oil and water

immiscible lighter liquid 'A' = oil

immiscible heavier liquid 'B' = water

a) pour mixture A+B from the top of separating funnel

b) allow the mixture to stand in the funnel for some times till the layer ( heavier below & lighter above)

c) open the separating funnel from lower side and separate out heavier liquid in another flask

heavier liquid water collected in flask as well as lighter liquid oil will remain in separating funnel
