Sabitha15: squamous epithelium are formed from one layer squamous cell . squamous cells are thin,large and flat. It's function is absorption and transport of materials . columnar epithelium lines most of the organs of the digestibe tract. They act as a lubricant.Cuboidal epithelium is found in organs that are used for secrition like salivary glands.
