Joule's law states that the quantity of heat generated in a conductor is directly proportional to the square of current, the resistance of the conductor and the time for which current flows.

Joule’s Law states that H (Heat) = I (Current) x V (Voltage) x T ..
Joule's Law states the relationship between the amount of electrical energy converted into heat
Q when a time invariant current I flows through an electrical conductor with resistance R for a time duration t.The SI unit of energy is the joule; symbol J.
 hope it's help u.
