Hi friend

Your answer
--------------------

Given that : - (x , y) = (p , 3) is a solution of the equations --

3x + 2y = 6.....(i)

x - qy = 2......(ii)

Now,

Since, (x , y) = (p , 3)

so, x = p and y = 3

Putting this value of x and y in eq.(i), we get,

3x + 2y = 6

=> 3p + 2 × 3 = 6

=> 3p + 6 = 6

=> 3p = 6 - 6 = 0

=> p = 0/3

=> p = 0

So, x = p = 0

Now, putting x = 0 and y = 3 in eq.(ii) , we get ,

x - qy = 2

=> 0 - q × 3 = 2

=> - 3q = 2

=> q = - 2/3

Therefore,

p = 0
q = - 2/3

x=p and y=3 then
3x+2y=6
put y=3
3x=6-6
x=0/3=0 then
x-qy=2
put x=0 and y=3
-q=2/3 then q=-2/3
solve equation
3p+2y=6
p-qy=2
=2p+y(2+q)=4
= 2p+3(2+q)=4
=2p+6+3q=4
=2p+3q=-2
put q=-2/3
=2p+3×-2/3=-2
=2p-2=-2
=2p=0
=p=0/2=0

p=0 and q =-2/3
