HELLO,
ABC is a right angled triangle,
so by pythagoras theorem,
AB^2=BD^2+AD^2
BD^2=AB^2-AD^2
BD=root2

AREA OF TRIANGLE,
=1/2*BASE*HEIGHT
=1/2*(AD+DC)*BD
=1/2*4root2*root2
=4

AREA IS 4 square units.
Hope it will help you.

bd^2=ab^2-ad^2
bd^2=(2√5)^2-(3√2)^2
bd^2=20-18
bd^2=2
bd=√2
base=3√2+√2=4√2
area of triangle=1/2*b*h
=1/2*4√2*√2
=4

oyo: yes Sure
