here's ur answer-

defraction is not responsible for rainbow formation whereas TIR, reflection and refraction are responsible for it.

TIR occurs within the rain drop,

reflection occurs due to reflection of sun light by raindrop

and , refraction occurs through the raindrop by splitting sunlight in it's seven colours.
