2 {k}^{2}  + 12x + 10 = 0 \\ 2 {k}^{2} =  - 12x - 10 \\  {k}^{2}  =  - 12 x- 10 \div 2 \\  {k}^{2}  =  - 6x - 5 \\ k =       \sqrt{ - 6x - 5}  \: (or) \\ k =  -  \sqrt{ - 6 x- 5}
