Atomic radius refers to distance between outermost electron and nucleus. As electron possible is difficult to locate .Atomic radius is calculated as half of the distance between two nucleus which are involved in bonding.
usually it is measured in Angstrom or picometer or nanometers.
In periodic table atomic radius increases over group from top to bottom and decreases over period as we go from left to right

anup3: ok but can you give atomic radii of elements?
anup3: because in competitive exam they ask that type of questions
prmkulk1978: atomic radii is half of the distance between two nucleus involved in bonding. in case of ionic bond it is called as ionic radius . in case of covalent bonding it is called as covalent radius.Atomic radius is singular form.Atomic radii is plural form

0.529×n×n÷z
It is formula for finding radius.
where,n=number of orbit,
z=atomic number.
