can anyone please tell me the explanation of the reaction that when vinegar and baking soda are mixed then if we place it near a candle which is blowing it stops lightening when it is placed near it, Why does this happen​

vinegar(acetic acid)-CH3COOH and Baking soda(sodium bicarbonate)-NaHCO3 when added this rection takes place

NaHCO3(s) + CH3COOH(l) → CO2(g) + H2O(l) + Na+(aq) + CH3COO-(aq)

during this reaction carbondioxide is released which puts off the candle
