Can anyone please tell me what are the cyclone prone states of India along with their areas proned ?

13 coastal states and union territories together are prone to cyclones in india. in these, the mainly prone states are west bengal, orissa, andhra pradesh, tamil nadu and the union territory puducherry. some parts of southern coast of gujarat are also prone to cyclones. 

the 12 most prone areas to cyclones in these states and UT's are nellore, east godavari and krishna in A.P, yanam in puducherry, balasore, bhadrak, kenfrapara, jagitsinghpur in orissa and north paragana, medinipur and kolkata in west bengal.
