SOLUTION:-

(2x - 3) / ( 5x - 4 ) = ( 2x + 1) / 5x + 20

on cross multiplying we get

2x ( 5x + 20 ) - 3 ( 5x + 20 ) = 2x ( 5x - 4 ) + 1 ( 5x - 4)

10x square + 40x - 15x - 60 = 10x square - 8x + 5x - 4

on transferring the whole term to left hand side

10x square + 25x - 60 - 10x square + 3x + 4 = 0

28x - 56 = 0

28x = 56

x = 56/28

x = 2

Hence X = 2
