Inflammation of The Indian Currency

Respected Sir/Ma’am
In the esteemed columns of your newspaper, I would like to draw your attention towards the increasing prices of basic and luxury commodities in India which has caused the level of the actual poverty line to go up when taking the ratio given by world bank.
Since independence the value of rupee has always gone down when compared against the standard and most stable currency taken by the world i.e. The US dollars from before independence when the rupee was equal to 1 dollar it has constantly risen up to around 80 rupees when rounded of. Causing increase in the price of basic commodities such as food and water (where people have to purchase a basic thing like clean drinking water). This has caused severe hardship in the lives of poor people causing subsistence crisis.
I hope you would look into the matter and suggest for the same as well as the authorities will focus on stopping the inflammation of the Indian Currency
Yours Sincerely
Mohammad Umar
