Proof - LM || BC
Angle 2 = angle y ---- (1)
(Alternate interior angles)
Angle 1 = angle 2 ------ (2)
Sum of angles at any point on a line is 180°
∴Angle 2 + x + angle 1 = 180°
= Angle y + angle x + angle z = 180°
= Angle A + angle B + angle C = 180°
2nd sum
Angle TRS = Angle TQR + Angle OTR ( Exterior angle property )
= Angle QTR = Angle TRS - TQR
Also, Angle SRP = Angle QPR + PQR --- (1)
2Angle TRS = Angle QPR + 2 angle TQR
QPR = 2 Angle TRS - 2 angle TQR
== 1/2 QPR = TRS - TQR ---- (2)
From (1)
Angle QTR = 1/2QPR
