Hello

According to the question:

20% are teachers

30% are engineers

10% are managers

15% are doctors

and 25% are businessmen

300 engineers make 30% of the total people working

So, \frac{30}{100} \times x= \:\:300

30x = 30000

x =  1000

So, there are 1000 people working totally

Now, 25% are businessmen, so:

\frac{25}{100}  \times 1000 = 250 people are businessmen

20% are teachers, so:

\frac{20}{100} \times 1000 = 200 people are teachers

15% are doctors, so:

\frac{15}{100} \times 1000 = 150 people are doctors

10% are managers, so:

\frac{10}{100} \times 1000 = 100 people are managers

Now, when you add all, 150 + 200 + 250 + 300 + 100 = 1000

Hope it helps :)
