let the time taken by the 1 man to complete the work be x days and 1 boy be y days.
1 day work of 1 man = 1/x
1 day work of 1 boy = 1/y
8/x+12/y = 1/10 ------------(1)
6/x+8/y = 1/14 ------------(2)
3*(1)-4*(2) = 3*1/10-4*1/14
3*(8/x+12/y)-4*(6/x+8/y) = 3/10-2/7
24/x+36/y-24/x-32/y = 1/70
4/y = 1/70
y = 280 days
6/x+8/280 = 1/14
6/x + 1/35 = 1/14
6/x = 1/14 - 1/35
6/x = 3/70
x = 140 days
1 day work of 1 man and 1 boy = 1/280 + 1/140 = 3/280
time taken by 1 man 1 and 1 boy to complete the work = 1 / (3/280) = 280/3 = 93.333 days
therefore, 1 man and 1 boy will complete the work on 94th day
