Answer:
• Portia has been portrayed as a beautiful lady. Bassanio compares her golden hair to the golden fleece and tells that she is "fairer than the word fair".
• Bassanio also compares her to the Brutus's wife, Portia who is known for her beauty.
• Portia is an obedient daughter who is curved by her father's will and she doesn't disobey her father.
• She has immense love for Bassanio which can be seen in when Bassanio arrives at Belmont to take the casket test and Portia tries hard to stop Bassanio from doing that and delay time.
• She is a good example of "Beauty with Brains". The smartness and intelligence she shows in the court to save Antonio is worthy of praise.
Hope this helps you.
