According to exponent laws

A × A = A^2

therefore y^4 × y = y^5

= y^5/y^-2

according to exponent laws

a/a = a^1-1 = a^0 = 1

therefore y^5/y^-2 = y^5-(-2) = y^5+2

= simplest form is y^7

Answer:

y^7

Given:-y^4×y/y^-2

To do:-Simplification

Solution:-

y^4+1/y^-2                      (a^m×a^n=a^m+n)

y^5/y^-2

y^5-(-2)                           (a^m/a^n=a^m-n)

y^7 is the simplest form.
