can anyone plz make me understand how this chemical equation has been balanced?
3 Mg(OH)2 (aq) + 2 H3PO4 (aq) ⇒ 6 H2O (l) + Mg3(PO4 )2 (aq)

In balancing nothing is there only you have to make equivalent no of atoms at both side of equation :

likewise in the following reaction you can see first there is 3 magnesium in product side so we put had 3 magnesium in reactant side. ➖3Mg(OH)2

Then potassium is 2 at product side so we had put 2 at reactant side➖2H3PO4

Now Hydrogen has having 12 atoms at reactant side: 3Mg(OH)^2+2H3PO4=12

atoms. So as therefore you can see in product side also there is 12 hydrogen atoms:6H2O=12 that is making Hydrogen

Then lastly Oxygen is 14 in reactant side :3Mg(OH)2+2H3PO4=14 oxygen

and there is also 14 oxygen at product side:6H20+Mg3(PO4)2
