First Boron contains in groups 13
Then Anomalous behaviour of boron are
1) Boron is smaller but harder than other elements of its group
2) Boron has higher boiling and melting point than those of elements of its group.
Hope it helps you

shubhi12397: can you give me more points on topic
rosangiri28pfbc5r: boron is non metal while other elements of its group are metal
rosangiri28pfbc5r: Boron forms covalent bond only while other elements of its group form covalent as well as ionic bond
shubhi12397: thanks
rosangiri28pfbc5r: In group 13 , only boron shows allotropy.
shubhi12397: thank you

I hope you help me !!!
===================
Boron, the members of group 13 element anomalous behavior and differ from rest of the members of it's family .
the main reason of different is .......

1) exceptionally small atomic & ionic size
2) high ionization enthalpy
3) absence of d orbital in it's valency shell
