Hii..
Haploid(n) is the condition in which the number of chromosomes in a cell are half of its actual value ..for eg- the male and female gametes have only 23 chromosomes i.e half of 46 ..-.half of actual chromosomes ..

Diploid(2n) is the condition in which number of chromosomes are twice i.e for eg-when two gametes fuse they form a 2n zygote which has 46 chromosomes..

Mitosis is a type of division where the number of chromosomes before and after cell division remains the same..it occurs in somatic cells..or cells of the body..

Meiosis(reduction division) is a type of division where the number of chromosomes become half after the cell is divided..--Gametes are formed through meiosis..

hoep this helps!!

haploid : if any organism containing only one set of chromosomes is called haploid.
diploid : if any organism containing two sets of chromosomes is called diploid.
mitosis : it is also called as equational division.
divides to form 2cells
cell divides only once
contains four stages 1. prophase
2. metaphase
3. anaphase
4. telophase.
prophase is simple
no synapsis occurs
synapsis : paring of homologous chromosomes
no exchange of genetic material that is crossing over doesn't take place.
chromosomes number remains same at end of division
takes place in somatic cells of body
occurs in both sexually and asexually reproducing organisms
synaptonemal complex is not formed
meiosis : it is also known as reductional division
divides to form 4 cells
there are 2 cell divisions that meiosis 1 and 2
prophase is divided into 5 steps
1. laptotene
2. zygotene
3. pachytene
4. diplotene
5. diakinesis
synapsis occurs
crossing over takes place
chromosomes number is halved at the end of the division
takes place in germ cells
occurs only in sexually reproducing organisms
meiosis 1 is known as reductional division as the chromosomes number reduced to half
meiosis 2 is known as equational division as the sister chromatids separate and the chromosomes number remains same
synaptonemal complex is formed during the zygotene stage of prophase 1
hope this answer is useful to u if helps plz mark it as brain list
