length = x

let breadth = y

perimeter = 180m

2(x + y ) = 180

x + y = 90

area = 1800m^2

xy = 1800

the equation is

k [ x^2 - ( x + y )x + xy]

k [ x^2 - 90x + 1800]

let k= 1 then

x^2 - 90x + 1800

x^2 - 60x - 30x + 1800 = 0

x(x - 60) - 30(x - 60) = 0

x - 60 = 0 ; x - 30 = 0

x = 60 ; x = 30

therefore length x = 30 or 60

perimeter 2(x + y ) = 180

x + y = 90

if x = 30

30 + y = 90

y = 60

if x = 60

60 + y = 90

y = 30

therefore length = 30 or 60 meters

breadth = 30 or 60 m
