↪so here , we applying the formula to get the effective power of the lens

↪ P eff = -2.0 + 1.5

↪Peff = -0.5 D

↪Thus here we get as ,

↪Effective power of the combination of the lens as -0.5 D

↪since we know that

〽Power = 1/ focal length

thus applying we get as

↪f = 1÷ -0.5 ==》 1/ -0.5

↪focal length = 2 m
